Riesgos del comercio de activos financieros online en la población joven

Online financial asset trading is increasingly popular around the world, but there are doubts about the level of preparation of participants in these activities. Through a comparative statistical analysis, this work explores the attitudes and behaviors of young students in relation to online decision-making under uncertainty, to learn about the origin of manifestations that could alert about possible dependencies. It is found that while low financial education and the presence of inconsistencies in behavior anticipate a greater incursion into the practice of these activities, it is precisely the profiles with greater financial education and absence of inconsistencies who are most likely to present problems. The above suggests that rigorous analytical reasoning could increase self-confidence and feelings of guilt in young people when it is not accompanied by discipline, long-term vision and protection from market psychology.
